The National Cadet Corps is an organisation which under the Ministry of Defence in central and Civil Defence in our state. There is a Directorate office at Kolkata looking after the state of West Bengal and Sikkim.The NCC groups and units located at various locations in our state. The civilian staff these groups and units are from the state government. At the national level, the strength will be 15 lakh from the present 13 lakh. There is a university in our state which 50 years old they do not have NCC. The students are missing the scope of getting this training during their student life.
Some initiative has been under taken, Some students may get chance to join in the year 2015.
